When we look around the world we realise how lucky we are to live in a vibrant multiracial society based on mutual respect. It requires citizens from all backgrounds to work together to achieve a tolerant and open society. As I reflect on the last years I am proud of the Association that has grown and developed into a flourishing organisation, which is recognised as making a significant contribution to the young ethnic people in the local area. The great energy, time and determination the members, volunteers, and staff have, is helping to improve life for local ethnic young people and raise standard in education. II present to you all this Website as a record of the Associations current activities, achievements, and a statement of our commitment to the future, which we hope everyone will continue to support.

This report also shows visions and shows how this is put into action. It is also very clear that HAAYA is committed to offering the best possible service to its users, which is very much evident from the variety of services that it seeks to offer At last, not least, I wish to express my sincere appreciation to all our funders, supporters, members, volunteers, staff and my colleagues on the board for all their support, help, effort, and hard work. We have kept our door open for partnership and networking to share our views and ideas and always welcome the opportunity to meet other organisations working in the similar fields. The advancement in education, training, employment, we believe, is only possible through the joint working commitment, there are more to do and I look forward to taking the organisation forward
