HAAYA offers a wide range of initiatives tailored to the needs of young people in Hounslow. We aim to provide a holistic service, which particularly helps those who are at disadvantage, to re-engage with mainstream society and improve their quality of life. HAAYA seeks to address issues impacting the local community through working with young people who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET) and those who are in Education, Employment, or Training (EET). We aim to eradicate racial tension, postcode gang violence, criminality, and anti-social behavior, whilst addressing the lack of training and employment opportunities. We also place strong emphasis on the health and social welfare of our community.
As a firm advocate of Hounslow’s youth services, I have always been impressed by the zeal and dedication of the HAAYA team and its volunteers. Having witnessed their extensive work and engagement with young people since the beginning, I feel they are a credit to Hounslow and its vibrant, united, multi-cultural community.

I am delighted to present this report detailing HAAYA’s recent activities. It’s been a privilege to collaborate with our dedicated team of trustees, staff, and volunteers, all committed to improving the lives of Hounslow’s youth. Over the past two years, we achieved a significant milestone by acquiring a disused building on Ivy Road, now transformed into the MY HUB youth center. This accomplishment, supported by community donations, reflects our enduring commitment to empowering the young and underprivileged. Despite temporary refurbishments, our long-term goal is to construct a purpose-built facility offering diverse community services. Your continued assistance is invaluable in making this vision a reality

I heard about HAAYA through the graduate challenge I was on. We had people from Hillingdon Association of Voluntary Services (HAVS) who came in and discussed placements available for volunteering. Haaya seemed really interesting to me because it offers help and advice for young under privileged people in their community.”

HAAYA is great! I especially enjoy the residential trips. I remember one time we went to Brenscombe outdoor centre and we were taught how to drive a speed boat, I loved it!
